About Sunny

Sunny is an MIT-trained urban planner-designer and a former U.S. Army officer turned business owner.

Sunny’s experience spans government, private sector, and academia, and includes work for large and fast-paced firms, such as Perkins Eastman and AECOM. Throughout her career she has led dynamic, collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to develop context-driven proposals for high-value projects.

Sunny holds AICP and LEED-ND certifications and is a member of the American Planning Association and the Congress for New Urbanism. She is also a member of the Society of Architectural Historians and the National Civic Art Society, an affiliate member of the American Society of Interior Designers, and is pursuing a certificate in Landscape Design from Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh.

Sunny is especially passionate about human-scale and child-centric design and walkability.
